An ambulatory infusion suite is a staffed, non-hospital setting for specialty infusion therapy. Integrated Rx Specialty has an on-site infusion suite in Phoenix. Whether that site is appropriate depends on the drug, your reaction history, and what your prescriber and health plan allow.
Prior authorization is a health-plan review of medical necessity before many specialty drugs or infusions are covered. We coordinate with your prescriber to submit documentation through the pharmacy-benefit or medical-benefit channel the plan uses, then share the status. The plan makes the coverage decision.
Benefits investigation is the coverage check before the first fill or infusion. It looks at formulary status, pharmacy versus medical benefit, whether prior authorization is required, and likely out-of-pocket cost so you are not surprised by a denial.
Many plans cover medically necessary specialty medication and infusion, often after prior authorization. Coverage, copays, and site-of-care rules vary by plan. We investigate benefits for your specific medication and explain what we find. We cannot guarantee approval.
Sometimes. Arizona plans often prefer a lower-intensity site of care, such as an ambulatory infusion suite or home infusion, when it is clinically appropriate. Your prescriber decides if hospital outpatient infusion is required. We can discuss our Phoenix infusion suite after reviewing the order.
When the medication and care plan allow it, we coordinate delivery in the Phoenix area, including temperature-sensitive shipments. Pickup at 727 E Bethany Home Road, Suite B110 remains available. Call us before using a package that arrived warm or damaged.
Ask your clinic to send a new order to Integrated Rx Specialty, or call (602) 975-6025 and we will request the transfer when the drug is not limited-distribution to another pharmacy. If we cannot fill it, we will say so.
