Medication Return & Refill Policy

Medication return guidelines

For the safety of our patients, federal and state pharmacy regulations generally prohibit the return or exchange of prescription medications once they have left our pharmacy. This is standard practice across the pharmacy industry and helps ensure that no medication is redispensed once its safe storage and handling cannot be verified.

Refill policy

We want your refill process to be simple and predictable. If you have questions about the timing of your refill, an unexpected quantity, or a billing issue, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help.

When we can help with a billing correction

We may be able to correct a billing issue if

  • You were billed for a prescription you did not receive.
  • There is a documented pharmacy or insurance processing error.
  • Your insurance plan retroactively adjusts your coverage for a fill.
  • A prescription was cancelled by your prescriber before it was dispensed to you.

How to reach us about a medication or billing concern

Simply follow these easy steps

  1. 1

Contact us through our [Contact Page].

If you have a concern about a prescription you've received, our patient care team is here to help. Simply visit our [Contact Page] and share the details.

  2. 2

Share your prescription details and a description of the issue.

Once we receive this information, our pharmacy team will review it and follow up with you as soon as possible.

  3. 3

Our pharmacy team will review your concern.

We take medication safety and billing accuracy seriously, and our team will work with you and, where needed, your insurance plan or prescriber to resolve the issue.

Approved billing corrections will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of service.

Medications that cannot be returned

For patient safety and regulatory reasons, most dispensed prescription medications cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once they leave our pharmacy, including situations such as

  • A prescription that has already been picked up, delivered, or opened.
  • A change of mind after a medication has been dispensed.
  • Medications requiring special handling, such as refrigerated or limited distribution drugs.

Billing correction processing time

When a billing correction is approved, it may take a number of business days for the adjustment to be reflected, depending on your insurance provider or payment method.

We appreciate your feedback

If you have a concern about your medication or billing, please let us know. Your feedback helps us continue to improve our service for every patient.
