Send the order where the specialty workflow already exists
E-prescribing a specialty medication to a retail pharmacy that cannot stock it adds days. Sending it to a specialty pharmacy that already runs benefits investigation and prior authorization shortens the path to first dose.
Integrated Rx Specialty accepts e-prescribe and fax. Fax: (602) 926-2703. Phone: (602) 975-6025. Address: 727 E Bethany Home Road, Suite B110, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
What to include so prior authorization is not delayed
Diagnosis, relevant ICD-10, drug, dose, directions, and notes on prior therapies help. If infusion is intended, say so and include the requested site of care. Our team will still investigate benefits and work prior authorization, but complete clinical context on day one prevents a second chart-chase.
Infusion versus dispense
If the patient will sit in our on-site infusion suite, tell us. If the product is a self-administered specialty medication, we counsel and arrange pickup or delivery.
After-hours clinical questions
Patients can reach a pharmacist 24/7. Clinics can use the main number during business hours for status. Provider referrals are outlined on the referral program page.
