Job Description
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the patients who rely on Integrated Rx for complex medication management. You will help patients get started with our services, answer questions about their care, and coordinate closely with pharmacists, providers, and insurers to keep everything running smoothly. Your work directly impacts how supported and cared for our patients feel.
This role requires a balance of empathy and organization. From welcoming new patients to following up on refills and coordinating with insurance teams, you will take ownership of the patient experience from start to finish. You'll work closely with our pharmacists and reimbursement specialists to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
You will also be responsible for documenting patient interactions, tracking follow-ups, and flagging any concerns to the clinical team. By staying attentive and responsive, you'll help ensure every patient receives timely, compassionate support.
What you'll bring
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll combine warmth with organization to support patients managing complex medication needs. You should be confident communicating with patients and their caregivers, coordinating with insurers, and collaborating with our pharmacy team to keep every step of the patient journey on track.
- 2–4 years of experience in a patient-facing or customer service role (healthcare preferred).
- Comfortable with insurance verification and coordination of benefits.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and pharmacy systems.
- Excellent phone and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Genuine care for patients navigating complex health needs.
